The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a Flood Watch for portions of West Tennessee, including Benton County.
- From Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon.
- Rainfall in the watch area will be in excess of 2 inches…some areas will see over 3 inches.
- Localized flooding and ponding of water will be possible in the watch area, not just near streams and rivers. Streams and rivers will also rise.
