A tornado watch has been issued for Benton and surrounding counties. Northern parts of the county, such as Big Sandy, and surrounding areas (Springville, and the wildlife reserve) will likely experience hail and heavy downpours around 1:00 PM.
Additionally, Thursday night, expect severe thunderstorms, followed by additional rounds of thunderstorms. Windy. 100% chance of precipitation.
UPDATE: Some churches in Benton County are open to serve as storm shelters. Currently: First Baptist Church, First United Methodist (on court square) Missionary Grove are open.
